These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Orator (“the app”), provided by Boxed Up. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Orator is a self-guided speaking-practice app. It offers a 30-day program, records your practice, analyzes your delivery on your device, and can provide AI-generated coaching. The app is a practice and educational tool.
Orator offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Monthly and Yearly) and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Subscriptions may include a free trial. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
If a free trial is offered and you start one, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription. You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Orator provides general speaking-practice guidance and automated feedback for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for professional speech-language therapy, medical, psychological, or career advice. Results vary from person to person, and we make no guarantee of any particular outcome.
You agree to use Orator only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes, and not to misuse, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its related services.
Your practice recordings and transcripts are yours. They remain on your device, and we claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for the content you record.
The app, including its curriculum, design, and software, is owned by Boxed Up and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app under these Terms.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that analysis and AI feedback will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boxed Up will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access if you violate these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
